It’s powered by a new hybrid engine with a CVT automatic gearbox, with the 1.5L hybrid-petrol engine returning up to 68.9mpg combined. It starts silently in electric mode and can be driven on electric power alone at low speeds. The electric motor gives you a power boost too, with a total output of 114bhp for swift progress.
Choose from Icon, Design, Dynamic and Launch Edition trim levels. The Launch Edition, features LED headlights, a 10” coloured head-up display, a reversing camera, Blind Spot Monitor, keyless entry and start and a JBL Premium Audio system, as standard. With such handy features, this is a car that demands a second look.
All New Yaris Features
Design
The 1.5-litre petrol engine is paired to a lithium-ion battery. It has 114bhp and 141Nm of torque for swift acceleration. The electric motor starts the All New Yaris silently and it is capable of powering the All New Yaris on electric power alone around town.
Drive
EV drive mode powers the All New Yaris on electricity alone. The electric range is up to one mile at speeds up to 31mph (enough for 80% of city driving thanks to regenerative braking). If you do lots of city driving, you’ll use very little petrol.
Practicality
All models have a reversing camera, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Road Sign Assist and Auto High Beam. Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist and Blind Spot Monitor are also available.
Living With It
Design models onwards have an 8” touchscreen. All models have Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. LED headlights are standard on Design models, while Dynamic models add dual-zone air conditioning, Smart Entry & Start and a JBL sound system.
